Alfredo literally has nothing to do with bacon so that makes no sense. I was simply asking if someone had any idea’s on making this without bacon. And why wouldn’t the  foil  keep in enough moisture? The bacon keeps the roast from drying out. I season with salt and pepper, brown in pan on stove top, wrap in bacon, roast for 1 hour to an hour and a half.
